With 1 in 4 people being affected by mental health, here at United Plant, we are keen to keep the conversation going about mental health, especially in the workplace.
Our service is delivered through our people. It is our people who help us deliver an industry advantage, so ensuring we have a high performing team can be interrelated to mental wellbeing.
We understand that the pandemic has also been a significant factor, with home working and/or changing working practices causing personal stress. Our commitment is to make an extra effort to look out for any warning signs, aiming to always listen and help signpost to extra support if that is needed.
This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week (10-16 May) advocates ‘5 Ways of Wellbeing’. These are identified as:
- Be Active
- Take Notice
- Keep Learning
Let’s keep the conversation going and help eliminate the stigma of mental health.
