big congratulations and well done goes to Barry Kinnon, here at United Plant.
Barry has successfully completed a ‘7 in 7 challenge’ to fundraise for Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
Starting as a ‘non-runner’, Barry committed to running 7 miles a day, every day, for 7 days. And we are delighted to say, he has exceeded his target by raising a current total of £1,100! What an amazing achievement and the money raised will make a big difference to MNDA – well done Barry.
Having been inspired to complete the 7 in 7 challenge after he discovered that an old colleague had lost his own battle to MND, Barry has proved that focus, commitment and passion can make a tangible different to the lives of others. Super values that are wholly supported by United Plant.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who has donated already over that last few weeks. We have also secured an additional £250 donation from our parent company – so thank you to Briggs Equipment, this will be added to the final total.
There is still time to donate to MNDA if you wish to do so https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Barry-Kinnon
